Died 20 Apr 1951, Wimmera Base Hospital Horsham Aged 91. Buried 21 Apr 1951, Horsham Vic. Reg No. 18908. Religion / Presbyterian.

Obituary - The Horsham Times - Tuesday April 3rd 1928.
A well respected resident of the Wimmera, Mr Charles Ladlow passed away at his home, Baillie St, on Friday at the age of 73 years. As a native of South Australia, he came to Victoria at the age of 21 with his parents, who resided at Dooen North. The late Mr Ladlow took up farming activities at Blackheath and continued on until he retired about ten years ago and then came to reside in Horsham. Deep sympathy has been extended to his sorrowing widow and surviving family of three sons and two daughters; Robert, Ernest, Victor, Annie, (Mrs Milne, of Minyip), and Amy,) Mrs V. Byrne, of Horsham). The funeral took place at the Horsham Cemetery on Sunday afternoon, a large cortege following the remains. The pall-bearers were Messrs: V. E. Ladlow, E. J. Ladlow, R. C. Carter, F. Carter, L. Dart & V. Barnes. The Rev. E.G. Petherick conducted the funeral service. Messrs Weight & Sons had charge of the funeral arrangements.

One of the Pioneer residents of the district, Mrs Mary Ann Ladlow, of George St, Horsham, died at the Wimmera Base Hospital on Friday at the age of 91. She was born at Birchip and married at Horsham to Mr Charles Ladlow, of Dooen North, who predeceased her many years ago. Member of the family are George (dec), Annie (Mrs F. Milne, Laen North), Robert Charles (Horsham) Ernest James (Dooen North) Amy Amelia (Mrs Byrne, Horsham), Albert (dec), Victor Edwin & Oliver (dec). The funeral was at the Horsham Cemetery on Saturday, the Rev. P. J. Thomas conducting the services at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church and at the graveside. Messrs: G. Ladlow, C. Ladlow, D. Ladlow, J. Ladlow, O. Ladlow and S. Crafter were the coffin bearers. The arrangements were carried out by L. Hutchesson.
