Census 1911: Edwin and Mary Hannah had been married for 33 years and there were 2 children living at home at that time - Arthur Charles aged 31 and Elsie aged 12. One interesting fact emerged fom this census was that they had had 8 children in all and 3 had died by 1911. Mabel had died in 1909 aged 16. More research is needed as I suspect that 2 children died at birth - George in 1886 and Maggie in 1887.

Edwin married Mary Hannah ROBERTSON, daughter of John ROBERTSON and Mary WHELDON, on 25 Dec 1877 in St. Andrews Church, Sharrow, Yorkshire. (Mary Hannah ROBERTSON was born in 1854 in Heeley, Yorkshire and died in 1914 in Ecclesall Bierlow, Sheffield.)
